Summary: The experience with staff and facilities was very good overall. The front desk and restaurant employees were excellent. The resort is very quiet and one might feel as if you have the place almost to yourself. There was a couple of downsides, that one might expect. You are in the jungle and there may very well be bugs (read spiders). They assured us that none are harmful. The bathrooms somehow are aging worse than the rest of the rooms. They should not have painted the showers etc as this has led to mold, at least in our case. All that said, for the price, the hotel is excellent, in general. We thank the staff for their kind attention during our stay.

Summary: Hotel was dirty, the shower area had mold. They did not have someone clean the rooms daily either. The batteries on the controllers did not work and the room I was given smelled like cigarettes

Summary: The staff was great. They offered us bananas ans coconut water from the trees. The pool was anazing! We used it at night with the stars and in the early morning . It was 102 degree day so we limited outdoor activies to morning. The air was a lttle slow to cool. But it did get cool. The extreme heat was probably the problem. But we loved the place!
